Walt Disney's Multiplane Camera crane was created to add an illusion of depth to the animated film. Layers of art were shot downward allowing the camera to ''dolly'' in or out of the image. This pin-on-pin design pays tribute to the 1930's invention used to enhance The Old Mill, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and countless other film classics. The top level of the pin folds out to show a 3D diorama while the mid-level featuring Snow White slides aside from the background.
